As part of the Seattle Housing Authority's neighborhood revitalization efforts, 86 for-sale townhomes were developed across 3 adjacent properties for the Holly Park project.
One primary goal of this HOPE VI grant-funded project was to attain visual harmony while creating sufficient diversity.
Individual parcels were to be perceived as a "composition of similar neighborhoods".
As emphasized with many SHA projects, developing a more sustainable living environment was fundamental to Holly Park. Through a combination of techniques, Holly Park achieved a Built Green 3-star rating. As with most of our projects, we used our proprietary software to perform heat-loss analysis, meeting both state code requirements and energy conservation goals.
